EPE

EPE

Overview
EPE is a new type of environmentally friendly packaging material that has been widely used recently. Polyethylene has excellent elasticity and anti-crack properties. It will return to shape after compression. It is the best choice for cushioning and protection for various products.

Q: What is  EPE?
A: EPE is also known as polyethylene foam , EPE pearl cotton. The main raw material for EPE production is LDPE low-density polyethylene resin. During the production process, foaming agent and anti-shrinkage agent are added to  for extrusion. They are usually white, and can be made into different colors according to different requirements. The appearance of EPE has independent bubbles and fine bubble hole structure, whick  make EPE elastic and not easy to break.

Q: What are the main features of EPE?
A:

  • Moisture-proof.
  • Puncture resistance.
  • Puncture resistance.
  • Shock absorption.
  • Sound insulation.
  • Good tenacity.
  • Recyclable.
  • Excellent impact absorption.

Q: Is EPE environmentally friendly? Is it recyclable?
A: EPE is foamed PE. Just like PE, waste EPE products can be recycled and granulated for reuse, and the reusable cycle life reduces garbage generation and reduces environmental damage.

Q: What are applications for EPE?
A: It is widely used as anti-collision and shock-absorbing packaging materials for general products. It is also the ideal choice for protective packaging materials for fragile products or handicrafts such as ceramics and glass. In addition,EPE is light and moisture-proof, it can also be applied to filling materials, such as the interlayer of briefcases or suitcases as cushioning filling materials. It can be used as a sound insulation and heat insulation material in building decoration. In addition to light weight, EPE also has buoyancy. It can be made into various water buoyancy devices through post-process of covering leather materials, or filled into life jackets and other applications.
